qtubuntu-desktop software package provides Qt plugins for Ubuntu Platform API (desktop), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qtubuntu-desktop
qtubuntu-desktop is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qtubuntu-desktop package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qtubuntu-desktop *
You will get with qtubuntu-desktop package name, version, architecture and description in a table
